I started using wi-tribe since Jan this year. Initially the service was not bad at all. I mostly stream online so wi-tribe didnt gave me any blowbacks at all but that was initially…

Now its been almost 2 months & there service is getting worse every sec. I cant stream at all. Even low quality tubes with a few minutes timeline take like forever to buffer…

I signed up for 512kb package but I only get around 200kb most of the time. Even with the speed-boost installed my downstream rate never exceeds 30kbps…& that sucks big time.

To top it all…there costumer support is crappy as hell.

In my experience…PTCL is the best bang for bucks deal out there today.

I have had wi-tribe 512kb connection since about a year. In the beginning there service was pretty good but since the last 4 months or so when the got the best broadband provider award in Pakistan their service became crap. My packets are really below sinking point and many of the times the signals on the device disappear. When I try to tell them the problem those a-holes just say after connecting the device in their offices that you are getting 4 signals and our service is fine. Candy ass Jerks Of damn Wi-tribe.

DO NOT GET ONE DAY UNLIMITED TOP UP from WI-tribe, once you get that they reduce the bandwidth to 25%

I am a Wi-tribe user since November 2009, They promised me to ive me 50% discount on 6th billing month and 100% discount on 12th billing month, it never happens, when time came they just said this offer is not valid now, They better say it was a BIG lie.

Now interestingly they used to send me SMS and telling me that you are about to consumed 70% of your allocated volume, I hardly use Internet at home, my Wifi is secured and most of the time my Wi-tribe CPE remain powered off, they keep trying to sell me more volume, yesterday day I got an email from them stating that you received a free coupon, you can get one of the Top Up services for free.

I logged in and use that coupon for one day unlimited download Top Up, and put around 10 Gigs of data download on torrent, next evening when I noticed that download is not finished yet, I check download rate is very low, around 25 KB/s I paused the downland and check the speed on several speed testing websites, all of them stating that I got a 0.25 Mb to 0.30 Mb connection insted 1Mbps connection.

So bottom line is how good rating they got, how good they are, they are just typical ISP and thy like to suck, and they are doing good. Until I get a better ISP I have to live with Wi-Tribe, infact they’re better then worst PTCL, Bad Yateem (Wateen) and Kid (Qubee).

I suggest everyone to use WATEEN. Its service is very good as compared to others. Im also using its 2MB link since 2 years and Im satisfied.
